1.) Created in 2009 orignally by Callum Rogers, Matthew Wynne and Jordan Finn then joined by Jack O'Halloran and Sean Forde the Warrington lads tried to create a sombre garage rock sound inspired by the likes of Joy Division, Oasis & other North-west greats. Their roughness and raw sound instantly brought a cult following and they are currently working on their first E.P - 'Inspired by Recent Events'. The current line up consists of J. O'Halloran [Vocals], J.Finn [Rhythm Guitar], Declan Ghee [Lead Guitar], S.Forde [Percussion], C.Rogers [Bass]. From May 2010 onwards they renamed themselves 'The Deadtowns'. 2.)A collaboration between singer Jack Weaving and producer Matik. Jack Weaving and Stephen Mowat (Matik) met whilst playing a festival with their previous bands, soon after this they began writing songs. At the time Jack and his current band where about to relocate to Germany, this didn't prove too much of an obstacle with more than half the album written through Skype sessions and drop boxed files with Matik in Melbourne and Jack in Berlin. Album coming June 2013. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
