Cartright was founded in 2006 and is Ben Russell (guitar/vocals), Joe Cornetti (rhodes/organ/piano), Lou Cornetti (bass), and Nick Cornetti (drums). While Cartright's music has been variously categorized as no wave, avant-garde rock, post-american pop, and psych, it is primarily concerned with making music that challenges the boundaries of conventional thought.
