Caroline Shaw is an American, New York-based composer, violinist and vocalist. Sō Percussion is an accomplished percussion group, also based in New York, NY, United States. Over the past few years, Shaw has found a powerful bond with Sō Percussion, who recorded with Shaw on the Grammy-winning 2021 album Narrow Sea and strengthened their collaborative bonds with her even further later that year with the album Let the Soil Play Its Simple Part. June 2024 saw the release of their third collaborative album together, entitled Rectangles and Circumstance.
