Carnophage was formed in early 2006 by Mert Kaya (guitars), Bengi Öztürk (bass) and Onur Özçelik (drums). Later Berkan Basoglu (ex-Solitude guitarist) and Oral Akyol (Burst Appeal & ex-Cidesphere vox) joined the band to complete the line-up. Carnophage's music is qualified as a fast and technical version of Brutal Death/Grind. Carnophage has recorded their debut album “Deformed Future//Genetic Nightmare” at the end of December 2007 in "Midas'in Kulakligi" studios.The album was produced by Erkan Tatoglu (Suicide) and will be released by Unique Leader Records on August 2008.
