There are two artists using the name "Carmen Rosa". 1. Carmen Rosa is a British Peruvian singer-songwriter who has been releasing dark pop songs since Wild One in 2017. It was followed by Give Me Love and Wake Me Up. Her latest effort was released early 2018 and is called Leave Me Lonely. 2. Carmen Rosa formed in 2000 in Portsmouth, UK. What initially started out as a studio project quickly blossomed into a full live band. Since 2002 the band have been playing venues all over the UK as well as some dates in Europe. The band has recently grown from a four to a six piece. Band members Jon and Ben still form the rhythm section for Cranes ' live set up. The band’s most recent project has been the completion of their début album 'You Only Think You Know' and are now working on the as yet untitled follow up.
