Carmel Conway is a singer from County Limerick, Ireland. She sings jazz and blues standards, Irish traditional ballads and popular songs from musical theatre. Her influences include modern Irish singer songwriters such as Paul Brady and Brendan Graham to the greats of American song; Barbara Streisand, Randy Newman and The Carpenters. In 2008 Carmel released her début album "This Beautiful Day" which included her interpretation of songs from Bob Dylan ("To Make You Feel My Love") and Leonard Cohen ("Song of Bernadette").
