Carlos Roqué Alsina ( Buenos Aires , February 19, 1941) is a composer and pianist born in Argentina and naturalized French. Carlos Roque Alsina defines himself as a self-taught pianist both in composition as well. The memory of some of his close associates during his tenure as a teacher in inner Argentina Teatro Argentino de La Plata Teatro Colón and describes this dual ability composer and pianist. His colleagues remember after decades as exceptional, the way performed symphonic scores transcripts fluent in "real time", ie, performing on piano directly from orchestral scores. They are also remembered his makeshift leak directly on the keyboard in the manner of the great Baroque organists as Bach and Buxtehude. In 1981 he received, in recognition of his significant contribution to French cultural life, was appointed Officer of Arts and Letters awarded by the Ministry of Culture, then under the management of Jack Lang .
