Bassist and composer, Quebrada began his studies at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. In 2008 he moved to Buenos Aires to continue his musical studies. He is a graduate from the Escuela de Música Contemporánea and also from the jazz program of the Conservatorio Superior “Manuel de Falla”. He has studied Composition with Ricardo Capellano, and is currently studying with Fernando Tarrés. In 2013, he recorded with Burzaco Factor, a group headed by the composer Abel Gilbert. The album was released by the Italian label AltRock and introduced live at the Centro de Experimentación at the Teatro Colón. In 2014, he co-lead the production of the album “Lenguas Vernáculas” by the group El Último Boabdil (Bogotá, Colombia). Quebrada has also played with Bosnia, Jardín Vertical and Pájaro Jaula.
