Carlos Moreno is a renowned artist Portuguese linked to the kizomba musical genre and African rhythms. He began comwriting and showing interest in music during a past season in France, along with his cousins who played various musical instruments. African music was the obvious choice because his father was of Cape Verdean nationality and this was the music he grew up listening to. When he returned to Portugal he made the decision to dedicate himself professionally to music, and began to integrate into this world and to learn with producers and other professionals in the field. In 2004 he recorded his first album, "Força di disejo", an album that was very successful internationally. The theme "Wet Kiss" was part of the top on several radio and television stations, such as RTP Africa. With this album he performed several concerts in Portugal and abroad, and saw some of his themes included in african music compilations, such as "Dance África 3" or "Bomba Cabo-Verde". His second work, "Today I am your prince", is released in 2012, after several years of preparation, maturation and attention to detail. This album combines the sounds of zouk, tarrachinha, funaná, semba and kizomba. In 2014, Carlos Moreno presents us "A vida é assim", his third album of originals, written in Portuguese and focused on Latin music, kizomba and kuduro.
