I was born in the Spanish quarters in Naples, I have always written and sung song, I’m a composer and I’m fond of popular music. Moreover, I’m qualified in double-bass at the Academy of music of my town. began my professional career in Roberto de Simone’s orchestra and I took part in some works such-as: La Gatta Cenerentola, Masaniello’s Cantata, Carmina Vivianea, Pulcinella’s misfortunes. From 1984 to 1998 I’ve been member of the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare. I collaborated with the band both as a double-bass player in a lot of international festivals ( Athens, Barcelona, Tokyo, Toronto, Algiers, Caracas, Lyon, Hamburg…) and as an author-composer in four albums:“Medina” CGD (1992), “Tzigari” CGD (1995) “Incanto Acustico” CGD (1996) “Pesce d’’o mare” EMI (1998). I have even composed for the Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare two songs proposed to San Remo’s Festival “Pe’ Dispietto” CGD (1993) which obtained the critics’award and “Sotto il velo del cielo” EMI (1998). Furthermore I composed the melody and wrote the lyrics for the greatest interpreter of the Neapolitan song: Roberto Murolo, I’m talking about “Ottantavogliadicantare” CGD (1992), “L’Italia è Bbella” PolyGram (1993) - a song which lets the eighty-year-old Murolo come out at San Remo’s Festival in 1994 causing a sensation and obtaining the award to the career ; “I Grandi Duetti” Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni (2002), “Ho sognato di cantare” Carosello (2002).I wrote songs for the actress-singer Lina Sastri, both in theatr
