Carlo Boccadoro studied at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan where he took a diploma in piano and percussion instruments. He studied composition at the same institution under various teachers, including Paolo Arata, Bruno Cerchio, Ivan Fedele and Marco Tutino. Since 1990 his music has featured in a vast range of prestigious concert seasons: the Teatro alla Scala, the Venice Biennale, the Bang On A Can Marathon in New York, the Aspen Music Festival, the Monday Evening Concerts in Los Angeles, the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, the Filarmonica '900 at the Regio in Turin, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, the Lucerne Festival, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the National Concert Hall in Dublin, the Royal Academy in Glasgow, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, the Pomeriggi Musicali, the G.Verdi Orchestra, the Arena in Verona, the Festival MITO, the Unione Musicale in Turin, the Mittelfest in Cividale del Friuli, the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, the Ferrara Musica, the Aterforum, the A.Toscanini Orchestra in Emilia Romagna, the Teatro Regio in Parma, the Tuscany Orchestra, the Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte in Montepulciano, the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, the RomaEuropa Festival, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Comunale in Cagliari and many others.
