Carl Wilson is identified as a Scottish singer and a cabaret artist. He is quoted on one site as being one of Scotland's top entertainers, and is "as much at home singing Country and Western songs as he is singing the lovely Scottish Ballads" (--The Irish Music Shop, description for his CD "Scotland the Brave"). He is often (even on this site) confused with the Carl Wilson who was a member of the Beach Boys. He started his career in 1977, and started acting in television in 1982.
