Carl Dobkins Jr was born 13 January 1941 in Cincinnati in Ohio. He is an American singer. His best known hit was in 1959 "My Heart is An Open Book". The record sold over a million copies, and he was awarded a gold disc. Dobkins married Janice Cox in 1960. The marriage produced two daughters. Dobkins married Janice Cox in 1960.
