Cara Mitchell is an 18 year old singer-songwriter from Aberdeen. In the short space of time she has been playing shows, Cara has created something of a buzz in her home city and beyond. Cara has already secured support slots with the likes of Emeli Sande, Gemma Hayes, Fatherson, Juan Zelada, Rachel Sermanni, The Coronas, Pearl & The Puppets, Jonah Matranga, Dave McPherson (InMe), Jake Morley, Stephen Fretwell, James Mackenzie, The 1930s and Tom Hingley (Inspiral Carpets), as well as performing in the 2011 Sound Festival. She completed her first mini tour in August 2012 and her first full UK tour with Esperi took place over September and October to promote the debut EP 'Have You Ever Wondered'. 2013 saw Cara head out on a mini tour of Scotland with Charlotte Carpenter which included another Sold Out hometown show. In March she was nominated by the Scottish Alternative Music Awards in the Best Acoustic category. She also recorded a four song set for BBC Television and played two in session tracks on BBC Radio.
