After forming in 2002, the band quickly replaced most of the lineup, keeping the name though its origin is comically unknown. These formative years brought the current members together through instances of fate, and in May of 2006 Captain Squeegee released their debut EP, “Behind the Metal and Metric Pace.” They have since played hundreds of local shows, including higher-profile gigs with Incubus, 30 Seconds To Mars, Rise Against, The Fray, Everclear, Authority Zero, Pennywise, Social Distortion, Unwritten Law, and The Mad Caddies. The band has also given highlight performances at a handful of festivals such as Tempe Music Festival, Edgefest, and Warped Tour.
