“Captain Dangerous are an explosive five piece art pop band from Nottingham, England, United Kingdom. Formed in 2006 by former flatmates Adam Clarkson and Miles Clark whilst at the University of Lincoln and later joined by (former childhood bully of Adam) Mark Houlgate, Rob Rosa and Jamie Elliott, Captain Dangerous play music with a frothy melange of quirk-pop influences. Listen and you'll hear Pavement, The Cure, The Smiths, Flogging Molly, Arcade Fire, and the Violent Femmes. Having toured throughout the past few years and most recently accompanied by a 20 piece orchestra, the band have built a reputation as a thrilling live proposition.
