Capital Road is an alternative rock band (or roots-rock band, or folk rock band, or reggae-rock band, or just plain unclassifiable band) from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They recently released their debut EP, It's All Gravy, and have been playing shows together since 2007, sharing the stage with national recording artists like The Honorary Title and Sister Hazel. The band is spearheaded by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Brad Hammer, his unstoppable front line of lead guitarist, Joe Franz, and bassist, Zach Reed, and drummer Jonah Toepfer holding it down and driving from the backseat. Constantly creating new ways to change the musical landscape, the members of Capital Road mix influences from artists such as Of A Revolution, Dispatch, Dave Matthews Band, and John Mayer to create a brand new style of music, something that they can call their own. From the war-inspired story, Little Child, to the upbeat melodies of My Side, Capital Road is constantly evolving and building upon their musical style, giving any fan a new and refreshing listening experience.
