Capitaine Révolte was a Quebec Punk-Rock band formed in Saint-Jean Sur Richelieu in 1999. The founding members were Frédéric Gagné (guitar, vocals, lyrics and music), and Marie-Claude-Joly-Bergeron (violin, vocals, piano). The band took 3rd prize in the 2000 Cégeps Rock contest, and 1st in the 2001 contest. In 2007, after a 2 year sabbatical, the band reformed with Fred and Marie as well as Judith Sun (bass), Françis Paré (drums) and Yanic Cloutier (guitar). The group has since disbanded and formed a new group Glycérine Machine. The band released two albums with Indica label. Un Jour Les Taureaux Nous Mangeront...
