Caper Clowns, a power pop/indie/rock/ band from Ferritslev, Denmark. Members of the band are Rick Kingo, Peter Højgaard, Christian Højgaard and Alexander “Skipper” Storm. When playing live they are joined by guitarist Henrik Krogh. Until leaving in 2015 Skipper’s brother Sebastian Storm was part of the band. Caper Clowns released their debut album The Buca Bus on September 30th 2016. The lead single Pockets, was immediately chosen as the “hit tip of the week” on Danish national radio station DR P4, who has continued to play the song ever since. Furthermore several local and web-based radio stations started playing the single Pockets alongside other tracks of the albums, both in Denmark, as well as internationally. Pure Pop Radio (A web-based radio from Virginia, USA) has named The Buca Bus as debut album of the year, the listeners of the radio show “Madsen” from DR P4 has voted The Buca Bus as the 16th best album of 2016, and The Power Pop Show (A radio show from California) has listed The Buca Bus as number 17 on best album of 2016! Caper Clowns has played more than 300 gigs – they have been the support act for Danish bands such as The Broken Beats, The Eclectic Moniker and the UK bands The Crookes and Level 42.
