Cap’n FENT is an avant-garde and experimental composer, injecting many punk rock sensibilities into his work with the use of sound effects and effects pedals to add layer and depth to his pieces which creates noisy, uncomfortable and unpredictable listening experiences. Cap’n FENT originally started as the side project of drummer Harvey, in his band Pedestrian. The band has since disbanded and he has formed, along with fellow bandmate bassist Andrew, metal punk band ‘Damage Control’. The Cap’n has plans to start his own band, taking his pieces to the next level with the help of drummer Eben and guitarist Monty from Sweeping Statement.
