Cancel Your Weekend's debut album is out now and will be accompanied by a club tour throughout the Netherlands. Upcoming shows are posted on www.cancelyourweekend.com Kings of Leon meets Whitest Boy Alive. Cancel Your Weekend plays fresh indie rock/pop songs. Ringing guitars alternate with catchy melodies. The band has a poppy yet recognizable sound which does not go unnoticed. Cancel Your Weekend won the Upcoming Award 2012, a band contest hosted by Hans Breukhoven (Free Record Shop), Kees van Weijen (Rough Trade) and Bart Proost (Upcoming Recordings). The band just finished their debut album which was mastered by Attie Bauw. 'Closer' (the first single of the band's self-titled album) was released October 1st.
