There are multiple bands by the name of Can't Say: 1. Can't Say formed in Albany in 1990, playing a combination of ska, hardcore, metal, and punk. After significant touring, 1995 marked the release of Cant Say’s album "The Kings of Crunchska." Within a month of its release, the band signed with Cargo Records. The band also sold well in Japan following a deal with Jimco Records, which gave them significant exposure in skater publications like Thrasher Magazine. In 1996, the band was signed to Moon Ska’s Ska Satellite Records, which showcased acts outside the ska purist acts of its parent label, where the band released their album “True Grit" approximately one year before breaking up. 2. CAN'T SAY came from the dirty streets of Baltimore, Maryland and played pop influenced punk rock in the tradition of SAMIAM, JAWBREAKER, LEATHERFACE and MEGA CITY 4. The band began in the summer 2000 when 4 guys got together and wrote 5 songs without a singer. After a short time though, they found one, and the line-up was finalized as Nick and Donald (guitar), Mike (bass), John (drums), and Andy (vocals). After recording two demos and playing the hell out of every Baltimore Venue at which they could book themselves, they recorded four songs to be released by Boss Tunage as part of their Instant Singles Collection in 2002.
