There are several artists with the name CAN CAN. 1.) Can Can was a Norwegian New Wave band that existed from 1983 -1987. The band was founded by Anne Grete Preus and Per Vestaby, that previously had played together in Veslefrikk. Can Can had several guitarists through the years. The band got the award "Spellemannsprisen in 1984, for their album "En Lek I Forhold". 2.) Can Can was born on 2002 in Quito, Ecuador. The band is Denisse Santos (Vocals), Daniel Pasquel (Guitar, Sequences), Toño Cepeda (Bass) and Andres Caicedo (Drums). They are known for their electronic-infused rock with influences from trip-hop and drum 'n bass. Although their popularity is recent, the band released two previous albums Can Can (2002) and Malditos Villanos Pixelados (2004). Their latest release is an E.P entitled Lado C (2007).
