Campfire Fight was a recording project formed in Sheffield, UK around the Summer of 2006. The group had come together after being asked to provide the soundtrack for the re-release of Canadian film-maker Larry Kent's abandoned 1962 short 'Hastings Street'. The music intended for the film was never used, but excerpts from the soundtrack were released as a free-to-download album and limited-run cassette tape in May 2008 on the Rack & Ruin netlabel. An EP of reworked and leftover material from the self-titled album entitled 'Leaves' was also released in 2009.
