Calvin Hard is an German pop musician, singer and musical actor. He became known in Eric Woolfson's (The Alan Parsons Project) Musical Gaudí. Hard absolved indepth classical music studies in concert guitar, piano and singing. Whilst doing so, he also learned to appreciate the performing arts as well as his musical training. As musician, performer and lead singer in orchestra, big band, theatre and studio, Calvin Hard acquired additional musical experience. Calvin Hard produced individual entertainment programmes tailor-made for his character such as the award-winning show staged around the American pop star, Michael Jackson. His broad range and the endeavor for new possibilities of expression in singing and dancing, introduced Calvin Hard into Eric Woolfson Musical Gaudí. There, he played the leading role and made his debut in the ‘Musicaldome’ especially constructed for the event in Cologne, Germany. The Musical was in fact so successful, that it attracted audiences of a total of over 1 million by commercial evaluations. All these inspiring experiences in the past, have given Calvin Hard today the capability to go down new creative and artistic avenues as a song writer. It is the courage for self-reliance, it is the pure feeling for life – and it is especially these characteristics that makes it possible for him to be exciting and electrifying at the same time.
