about

Calle Debauche is an art rock band from Tucson, AZ formed by Fred, Dan and Mohadev in 2006. This trio of drums, bass and guitar worked tirelessly to produce an ep entitled Potemkin Carnival that was heralded as, "mixing the intricate with the verve, and the dark-sound with the dissimilar lust." Egos unencumbered by such praise, Calle Debauche grew with the addition of marimbist Chris , followed by Dave on Tuba and Guillem on Sax. Despite mantaining a line-up with such a tenous reading of the cultural pulse of the nation, the band managed to grab Tucson by the love-handles and begin siring an offspring: their much-awaited full length debut. Blending art-rock with ska, eastern European melodies with Zappa, and metal with the nastiest of love ballads, Calle Debauche produce a bastard child of American popular song - a sound you will not forget, even if they are too far gone to remember you.
