Call In The Cavalry is an Experimental/Math Rock band out of the mitten state comprised of Daniel DeGennaro (Empire! Empire!, Sirdidymous) on bass, Brandon Grossmann (Timbre Ar, Here In Tokyo) on guitar and vocals, Jeff Baker (Apathy for an Enemy, The Experiment Perilous) on guitar and vocals, and Sean Hall (Eli Whitney and The Cotton Gin, The Experiment Perilous) on Drums. In 2009 CITC recorded two demos, "Polar Bears In Africa" and "My Legs Are Rocks, Peace..." in their practice space that were live with the exception of vocals and bass that were recorded later on. These demos were released for free online and at shows to gain some exposure. Call In The Cavalry have finished their debut ep that is set to be released sometime in October. Keep in eye out for CITC as they play as many shows as they can in and around Michigan. The '09 demo can be found on Last.fm and their myspace (http://www.myspace.com/callinthecavalry) available for free download. Also, a brand new track has been posted on their myspace off of their debut EP ("You're The Police and We're The Avalanche" released on Oct. 9th, 2010), the track is entitled "1000%", be sure to check it out and spread the word!
