David Skirving started California Snow Story in 2001 after leaving Camera Obscura. David was a founder member of Camera Obscura, playing lead guitar and writing a few songs on their early releases. California Snow Story have so far recorded one EP (One Good Summer) for Shelflife Records and, with a different line up, recorded a Brittle Stars cover for the compilation CD "You're Still Young at Heart". After a long break, California Snow Story are back! In early 2006 David was joined by singer Sandra, previously a member of Spanish band Superété. The album will be released on Letterbox Records in the UK/Europe on 21st May. Plastillina release news coming soon.
