Calamity Alex is an American composer, vocalist and guitarist. He got his start making the finale music for the YouTube series Half Life 2: But the Civilians Are Self Aware. He has since become the official composer for Soup Crater Productions and now works on a variety of projects. In December of 2025, Calamity Alex joined the animated series Roots of Sin as a composer and voice actor. In January of 2026 He created the song Your Fault for a collaborative album titled Live in the City: Volume 2.
