Cal Carter is a Bangor, Maine emcee. Graduate of Bangor High School (2010) and current UMaine student, Cal Carter has been rapping locally for the last year and a half, touring most of the greater Bangor area. Cal was emcee of the hip-hop group “Comfort Food” along with producer & multi instrumentalist James Ozog. Under that name, the group released two full length mix-tapes and even opened up for Inspectah Deck of the Wu-tang Clan. The First half of 2012 has been spent working on Cal’s first full length solo project entitled “Shorties for Stories” featuring production work from Portland emcee/producer O*zee.
