Caballeros Simpáticos

Perry Leopard, co-founder and formerly the singer of the Paris band Goo Goo Cluster, performs with many musicians under the name Caballeros Simpáticos. The Caballeros play in different styles: as Caballeros Psicodélicos for improvisatory and noisy rock and roll, as Caballeros Azules for soul/country, and as Caballeros Acústicos for acoustic music. The group has had many musicians playing on recordings and in concert, among others: Automne Lajeat (cello, member of Little Ballroom), Mathieu Goulin (bass,formerly in Les Ongles Noirs), Jacques Navaux (drums, formerly in Les Ongles Noirs), David Palix (bass, formerly in Goo Goo Cluster), Marten Ingle (bass), Marty Vickers (drums), Ignacio Plaza (keyboards, formerly in Les Ongles Noirs), Melissa Cox (violin, leader of Black Sesame), Kevin Kretsch (guitar, mandolin), Christophe Cadet (drums, formerly in Ultrazeen and Goo Goo Cluster), Stéphane Beaussart (dobro), Fulvio Lecca (lap steel, dobro), François Jouault (engineer, guitar), Lari Lucien (singing, guitar),Sylvain Bottet (accordion, formerly in Les Ongles Noirs), William Pigache (percussion), Sylvain Moser (organ), Hugues Bardet (guitar, singing), Christopher "the Machine" Thomas (guitar), Pierre Moreau (drums).
