A Heavy Metal act led by Grzegorz Kupczyk of Turbo and Non Iron fame. The band CETI, named after the NASA search for alien life 'Communication with Extraterrestrial Intelligence', was formulated during 1989. Initially the band comprised Kupczyk handling both lead vocals and bass guitar, Andrzej Lysów on guitar, keyboard player Maria 'Marihuana' Wietrzykowska and drummer Jacek Jablonski. Subsequently Maciej Przybylski took the bass role. CETI's first album Czarna Róża ('The Black Rose') fared well gaining national TV exposure.
