about

CCTV Allstars blend ska, folk, reggae, and rock to form a unique musical fusion. Ed, the singer and song writer, guitarist and composer, founded this band of troublemakers with the intent to bridge gaps between musical culture and society as a whole - together in a danceable manner. The name CCTV Allstars was chosen to raise awareness of the amount of forced-control imposed on society by governments and conglomerate corporations, and also to raise awareness of the dissolution of our civil liberties. CCTV Allstars was not meant to mean that the band are allstars, but it is to mean that everyone is a star because we are all being watched by government cameras. The completely international band consists of: Ed (UK) - guitar & lead vocals Ulf (SWEDEN) - bass guitar & supporting vocals Stepan (CZ) - trombone & supporting vocals Tom (USA) - trumpet & supporting vocals Nina (SLOVAKIA) - violin Omar (MEXICO) - drum & backing vocals User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
