CASHFORGOLD (Jacqueline Torgerson) is a singer-songwriter who creates moody electronic pop. Drawing inspiration from trip hop, rnb, classical music and ASMR, she infuses a soulful energy into an airy yet clear and ethereal tone, creating a haunting and emotive atmosphere. Her music has gained the support of Mr.SuicideSheep and Chill Nation as well as radio play in Germany and on SiriusXM Chill. CASHFORGOLD debuts her solo career in the spring of 2019, offering a sultry, downcast sound that falls somewhere between Sevdaliza and Billie Eilish. Inspired by Beats Antique, CASHFORGOLD’s live performance combines live vocals with bellydance, dancing alongside Detroit-based bellydancer Heather Marie and her troupe ‘Mandali’.
