Caramel Candid (stylized CARAMEL CANDiD, nicknamed CaraCan) is a Japanese self-produced four-piece girls' band. The band is led by Oto (おと), who is the vocalist/guitarist, and who mainly handles songwriting. Also on guitar is Saya (サヤ). their bassist is Mabo (まぼ) , and their drummer is Moko (もこ). Their debut song was 20carnation, but the first song Oto wrote was Virus Buster. They blew up online with CARAMEL GiRLS, especially in overseas areas. In 2025, they released their debut album, Not Heaven Nor Hell, with three new songs, the last of which is titular. Their genre can be described as J-rock, but is often self-described as Caramel Rock. Their songwriting style "captur［es］subtle discomforts and emotional fluctuations from everyday life through words and sound. ［They］ express emotions that feel both sweet and bitter, like caramel, through ［their］rock music".
