Cécile is a music project that takes its name from the saint protector of musicians, here in a profane outfit. After the classical piano studies, multi-instrumentalist C.D. starts experimenting with electronic music seeking for the feeling of the classical composer, one and only master of every aspect of the composition. The first productions grasp immediately important attentions, and in less then six months from his first appearance online, Cécile is in the studio with Bob Rifo (The Bloody Beetroots) to work on a conjoint remix for the Italian songwriter Bugo (Universal Records). The catchy remix is quickly noticed overseas by superstar-dj Steve Aoki, who inserts it in his Essential Mix for BBC Radio1 and in his Space Dust Mix for Dj Mag, a compilation printed in 100.000 copies given out with the popular magazine. The artistic collaboration with Bloody Beetroots doesn’t find rest: the output is a second remix for the French electro-duo S.P.A., which will be featured in their first release for Steve Aoki’s label (Dim Mak) in 2009. During the summer of 2008 Cécile unveils himself to the public with his appearance behind Magazzini Generali’s console, playing piano in the middle of his electro-punk live-set. Coming next are numerous performances, from the most prestigious Italian Clubs to Barcelona’s City Hall.
