JP Meldrum (born September 21, 1995 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a rapper, producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and song-writer. He currently resides in Victoria BC. BurrgerKang is a founding member of the Drug Rang, and Fuccboi label. His rap style is dynamic, including pitch-shift, auto-tune, hard-hitting gangster rap, self-aware confessional lyricsm, and arbitrary free-form pop culture freestyle. BurrgerKang and Keith Barrhave completed and plan to release "Amphetamine Dreams" in Summer 2014 with the Fuccboi label. A self-described hip-hop connoisseur, his influences include: Nas, Das Racist, Jay-Z, Clipse, Ghostface Killah, Kanye West, Gucci Mane, Drake, MF Doom, Lil’ Wayne, Dr Dre, among others. MC Acknowledgment released a mixtape called “Ivory Spittah” with producer Keith Barr on September 5th 2013 JP Meldrum also makes experimental lofi music under the name Formidable Liquorice.
