Artist
Burr Bailey was one of the aliases used by singer Dave Adams, during the period in which he was working with producer Joe Meek. The Bailey name was used on the more country-flavored songs to come out of the Meek music factory, and the name was credited both solo and as Burr Bailey & the Six-Shooters, the latter actually the Meek resident house band, the Outlaws, featuring Ritchie Blackmore on lead guitar. The English Decca label issued two Burr Bailey singles, "San Francisco Bay" b/w "Like a Bird Without Feathers" and "Chahawaki" b/w "You Made Me Cry", in the early '60s.
