In March 2008, Burden My Surrender was formed by two friends from Tioga County, PA. The band expanded quickly into a five piece group, spotlighting unyielding female vocals over tight melodic guitars and hard-hitting percussion. Thriving on both original and cover music performance, the group's sound is an energetic blend of pop and rock twisted with the aggressiveness of metal and the simplicity and attitude of punk. This combined with the band's kinetic energy and professional demeanor has been effective in attracting many listeners. In July 2011, July 2012, and July 2013, Burden My Surrender was selected, from over 20,000 participants, as winners of the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands for Warped Tour for Scranton, PA and twice for Darien Center, NY! Only days after, they were featured in press releases on roadrunnerrecords.com, bravewords.com, puregrainaudio.com, and ultimatemetal.com. Some of the group's catchiest originals from their 2009 self-titled Demo include such titles as "Rip and Tear" and "For What It's Worth". Their second album, Channels, was released March 9th, 2013. With heavy, energetic, crowd pleasing hits like, A Mind Invasion, Empty Rooms, and Imagine Agony. This album has been highly recommended and embraced by our fans.
