Bullfrog Blues Machine are no strangers to the blues scene in the Netherlands and Belgium. With the release of their latest album, Cross That Line "(Munich Records, 2005) it indicates that they wish to go further on down the highway to where it will take them. This is without the essence of their main source of inspiration - the American roots music - out of sight. The road from Texas to Illinois and back is made with the input of their own groove and soul, "It's our art. It's who we are, and it's bound to come out!. It's who we are, and it's bound to come out!. The band's style is dominated by their own compositions: original and groovy. Steady drums and bass are the blues machine for this guitar-oriented band. The live sound is characterized by a bold rhythmic bass where vocals, guitar and keys clearly on top. By a continuing renewal of the repertoire, a good dose of live improvisation and regular polishing of old songs, a concert by the band is never the same.
