Having closed the book on his former bands Adamantium and Give Until Gone, when singer/guitarist Dan Sena set out to form the band that would become Bullet Train To Vegas in September 2001, the only goal in mind was to create music that contradicted the current dull and predictable state of punk and indie rock. With the initial Bullet Train to Vegas lineup recording soon after forming, the band announced its presence quickly with the limited release of the Profile This EP. As is strangely typical with most bands in their infancy stage, lineup changes were imminent and frequent. At times, the concept of the band consisting of 4 like-minded individuals who shared the same musical vision and DIY work ethic seemed far-fetched. It was not until Dan finally found himself in the company of bassist Greg Horton, guitarist Erik Bailey and drummer Martin Cornish that Bullet Train To Vegas truly took form. With the Bullet Train To Vegas lineup solidified, the bandβs sound came to life as well. Melding a sharp and frenetic guitar style echoing post-punk pioneers such as Gang Of Four and Wire, with a howling and spontaneous vocal attack reminiscent of underground heroes such as Pitchfork and Clikitat Ikatowi, the band had clearly achieved their shared goal of creating something to which they could fully dedicate themselves. So began a steady stream of DIY tours across the U.S, the band sharing the stage with the likes of Bloc Party, Sparta, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Panthers, JR Ewing, T
