Jason Schneider (currently Darkest Ritual vocals, guitar, shared songwriting duties, some drums), the founder of Bullet Safe Inside, was born in 1986, and thus was but a young lad when the great bands of the early 90s hit their primes, came, and went. As a youth, Jason looked up to his older cousins who had been deeply immersed into the music and ethos of the grunge era, eventually causing him to take their method and music to heart. The music of his project, Bullet Safe Inside, takes on aspects of the grunge scene of the early 1990s and mixes them with various other influences, from ambient dream pop to progressive black metal flavors, resulting in a delightful balance of sounds. Songs can be both heavy and sludgy, yet have a light kind of ambience as well. The only way to truly have the "experience," if you will, is to give a listen.
