Bucket of Nails, from Orlando, Florida, is the chaotic brainchild of brothers Patrick Bell and Mike Bell. Mike's blasts of feedback and detuned distortion are pierced only by Patrick's crashing cymbals and pre-teen sounding falsetto screams about Satan, monkeys, and Macaulay Culkin. Their debut album, "I Checked My Calendar... It's Doomsday" was released in 2004 on Celestial Bison Records. "Bucket of Nails and Nico" was released in 2005. They are currently working on a new record for release in 2008 and regularly crash open-mikes around Central Florida (often refusing to leave stage until physically ejected from the building). One of their more famous incidents, as reported in Orlando Weekly, involved the reading of Dr. Seuss' "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" while playing Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" over a boombox. On the side, Patrick performs solo material as Scott Sutton, while Mike performs as Candlelight Vinyl.
