The Bryn Haworth Band is the musical project of British guitarist, singer-songwriter, and slide guitar virtuoso Bryn Haworth. He was born in 1948 in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. His musical style is a blend of rock, gospel, folk, and R&B. His main instruments are slide guitar and mandolin. Bryn Haworth has been a member of various groups, including Les Fleur de Lys, a Motown/soul band that served as the house band for Atlantic Records in England. The Bryn Haworth Band was one of his formations, with which he realized both solo and band projects. His music is strongly influenced by Christian themes, especially since the 1980s, when he began performing in churches and prisons.
