Born on the 1st August, Nkosenhle Bruce Lokothwayo is Mpumalanga bred, in a small farming town-Breyten, situated at the foot of Klipstapel, the highest point on the watershed between the westward flowing Vaal River and the eastward flowing Olifants and.. he is a 4.3 Civil engineering student, he however refuses to disclose whether the source of his striking looks are maternal or paternal. "Bruce Loko" as per brand, is self made, recognising the invigorating pushes he received from one of his icons, Martin Iveson, who is also known as "Atjazz". Loko is a lover of visual arts and crafts, found himself fascinated too by architectural technology and/or constructions, it is no brainer why the integration of art and his fascination of architectonics led him to music...like "singer-songwriter" Joni Mitchell, Bruce too perceives his music "fluid architecture". In the year 2000, Lokothwayo joyfully received a compact disc (CD) as a gift from the renowned Don Laka, a South African jazz musician, pianist, songwriter, music producer and entrepreneur, as a baton to begin putting effort on the clearly evident fate in music. Laka is also co-founder of Kalawa Jazzmee and owner of Bokone Music, he perpetually advises that Bruce goes to study music. Receiving the CD was the birth of a now long standing career, Bruce began devoting oneself to steering focus "behind decks", this exercise went on until academia called, he took a break from Dj(ing) and registered a full time study at the Universi
