Will Brotherton was born in Shreveport, LA and raised in southern MO. He spent a lot of his youth in church and was raised southern Baptist. Took up the guitar at age 12, and began singing at 16 and played in several bands over the years. Guitar/Bass Guitar/Lead and Backup Vocals with anyone who would play. A young father of two girls and divorced by his 21st birthday! Randle Carpenter was born in Lebanon, TN. Also raised southern Baptist, he was part of a musical family. He was also very young when they moved to southern MO. Randle graduated High School in 2005 and was enlisted in the Army National Guard from 2004 to 2012. Their paths crossed through a mutual friend in 2006. Both men found a lot in common. They shared a spirituality, but neither were "religious." They also shared a love of music and social gatherings. They became instant friends. Then they were roommates for over a year. That is when Randle picked up percussion, harmonica, and the guitar. Will taught him what he could quickly and it wasn't long at all before they were jamming! Finally, in mid-2012 they began to form a legitimate band and Brotherton/Carpenter was born!
