Hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, Broken Crown (formerly known as Bleed the Freak and Ridgway) is the brainchild of high school friends Nick Aldieri (guitar) and Jeff Dennis (bass). Broken Crown's ouvre includes heavy, lumbering metal pieces a la Black Sabbath, the powerful grunge metal of acts like Alice in Chains, and epic arena-bound cuts that resemble Led Zeppelin or Pearl Jam. In addition, the band boasts a lengthy repertoire of covers and a quality acoustic set. With the release of their new EP Element6, Broken Crown plans to become a major part of the music scene in Omaha and beyond.
