Bristlecone is a one-man black metal project from Lafayette, Colorado, formed in the Summer of 2009. The music is themed around nature and various forms of paganism. All music is written, recorded and produced by Bristlecone. The band is named after the Bristlecone pine tree, which at 4700 years old is the oldest single organism on the planet. Bristlecone is currently working on recording a debut album, which is intended to be self-released.
