A striking and highly dynamic blend of punk, prog, post-hardcore and straight up rock, Brides draw as much influence from Hot Water Music and A Wilhelm Scream as they do from Mew or Dire Straits, confidently overlaying styles usually kept separate to create an elaborate yet accessible concoction. Though only 18 months young, Brighton crossover quartet BRIDES are shaping up as one of the UK's most intriguing new bands. Since their formation in May 2007, the band have already shared stages with the likes of A Wilhelm Scream, Gallows, Architects, Devil Sold His Soul and Your Demise, Brides’ own eclectic musical character allowing them to simultaneously fit their feet to any bill whilst standing out as bold and unique.
