For Brian Platt, the voice tells a thousand tales. 10 years ago he was in rehab. 5 years ago he was singing gospel. Now, on the verge of the release of his solo debut Eleven Steps, Platt has a story to tell, with his chronicles of love and transit. Raised via a small-town conservative religious upbringing, a young Platt escaped to the big city and found himself on a fast track to nowhere. Reaching a low point after a serious brush with the law Brian checked himself into rehab, beginning the path to reinvention and the facing of his personal demons. It was in these years that Platt discovered the catharsis of music. He began to write, rebuild, recover, taking refuge in the rediscovery of his faith and songwriting.
